MS Forms "Save My Response To Edit" feature question

I had a question about the MS Forms application. I am currently receiving electronic reports through MS Forms. Under settings, we allow respondents to save and edit responses after submitting the forms. Providers are still having issues accessing their submitted surveys under the 'filled forms' tab after clicking on "Save My Response To Edit". Respondents are still unable to make edits which we want them to be allowed to do. I don't think respondents are able to save a copy as well.

  1. Can this be resolved?
  2. Is it possible that respondents from outside my organization have a different homepage view than ours? Our MS forms homepage shows recent surveys/filled forms.
  3. Also, is it possible for a respondent to exit the survey and resume where they stopped? So far respondents have to submit the survey and then be able to save & edit responses but are unable to as well.

    Dear Yvonne,

For an external user such as the personal account ******@outlook.com, you can only use the Anyone link. The internal user share link and the specific user share link don't support the external users even though they have been added as the guests in your tenant.

    .

When they submit the form, they can click on Save my response to edit to edit the response. But if they haven't logged their accounts in, they will be asked to log in to edit the response.

After logging in, they will see the following.

    .

Then they can on View in Forms to see the filled and edited responses.

    .

But you can only see that the form is responded by Anonymous at your side.

Please let the external users in your environment check whether they have logged in the correct accounts to edit the responses.

Thank you for your time and effort.

    Sincerely

    Hello Cliff,

Thank you for your response. After providing respondents with this information, they're still having trouble accessing the filled form after logging in. Is there another way to resolve this?

    Dear Yvonne,

Could you provide the reproducing steps about how they edit the responses at their side? Could you upload some related screenshots for our reference?

Note: Remove any private information before uploading the screenshots.

Thank you for your time and effort.

    Sincerely

    Hello,

We provided instructions to respondents as mentioned in the previous answer.

    • Providers DO see the option to click "Save my response to edit" [image below]

    • Multiple respondents said that even though the survey was saved, and previously was already logged in, nothing shows up on
      "filled forms"
