MS Forms "Save My Response To Edit" feature question

I had a question about the MS Forms application. I am currently receiving electronic reports through MS Forms. Under settings, we allow respondents to save and edit responses after submitting the forms. Providers are still having issues accessing their submitted surveys under the 'filled forms' tab after clicking on "Save My Response To Edit". Respondents are still unable to make edits which we want them to be allowed to do. I don't think respondents are able to save a copy as well.

  1. Can this be resolved?
  2. Is it possible that respondents from outside my organization have a different homepage view than ours? Our MS forms homepage shows recent surveys/filled forms.
  3. Also, is it possible for a respondent to exit the survey and resume where they stopped? So far respondents have to submit the survey and then be able to save & edit responses but are unable to as well.

    Dear Yvonne,

    From the screenshots, the responders seem to be using a work or school account not a personal account. Are they using another tenant accounts?

    If yes, check whether the filled form appears in Recent. If yes, edit it and save it and see whether it is showed in Filled forms.

    Thank you for your time and effort.

    Sincerely

    Hello Cliff,

    Thank you for following up. Respondents continue to have the same issues despite following the provided instructions. There are no new updates. Respondents do not see the filled form to edit their responses even after logging in their accounts.

    Dear Yvonne,

    Thanks for your updates and letting us know the current situation in your environment.

    I think that it may be a feature related issue in your tenant and the next step is to contact the related team to help you fix the issue directly in your environment.

    If you aren't the administrator, I suggest you contact the administrator in your company and let him follow the steps in Get support - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn to open a support ticket to our related team as soon as possible.

    About admin roles in the Microsoft 365 admin center - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn

    How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin? - Microsoft Support

    The administrator should be able to open the support ticket from Help & support in the Microsoft 365 admin center.

    Then you can select the Phone support or the Email support as follows.

    To simplify the process, I'd like to summarize the issue as follows.

    Issue Symptom:

    ===============

    The external users can't see the filled response after they logged into Microsoft Forms.

    Issue Environment:

    =================

    Microsoft Forms

    Can we reproduce the issue?

    =================

    No

    Next Step:

    ==================

    Open a support ticket to our related team to fix the issue.

    Thanks for your effort and hope that the issue can be soon fixed by our related team.

    Sincerely

    I think I have the same situation. I work for a staffing company that sends me a survey every 2 weeks via their 365-account. I have a long-term engagement at a government agency and use the 365-account supplied to me by the agency.

    I do not have a 365-account with my company. Every 2 weeks, I receive the survey friom my employer by email. I complete the survey, submit it and then click the <Save My Response> button. After I click the button, my MS Forms page opens automatically, but a copy of my completed form is not under Filled or anywhere else. (It is my only Forms account, and it is associated with my agency 365-account.)

    If I create a form in my own account and click <Save my Response> when I test it, it does appear under "Filled."

    Is it possible that only respondents in the same organization as the sender can take advantage of the Save My Response feature?

    Thank you,

    Kerry
