AADSTS50020 Cannot connect to teams

When I try to log in to teams it takes me to an old linked work account and I cannot access the account or stop teams linking it through. Anybody know how to solve the problem.

AADSTS50020: User account 'h--------@Stuff .com' from identity provider 'live.com' does not exist in tenant 'Whitecotes Primary School' and cannot access the application '5e3ce6c0-2b1f-4285-8d4b-75ee78787346'(Microsoft Teams Web Client) in that tenant. The account needs to be added as an external user in the tenant first. Sign out and sign in again with a different Azure Active Directory user account.

    Hi @Heather

According to your error message, this issue seems related to Azure AD login error. When user is trying to sign up with a live.com ID which is not a Windows Azure native org account, it will cause this issue. For more details about this error, you can refer to:

In this case, we firstly recommend you clear your client cache by following these steps:

    1. Fully exit the Microsoft Teams desktop client. To do this, either right click Teams from the Icon Tray and select ‘Quit’. Or run Task Manager and fully kill the process.
    2. Go to File Explorer, and type in %appdata%\Microsoft\teams.
    3. Once in the directory, delete any file in the following folders:
      %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\application cache\cache
      %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\blob_storage
      %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\Cache
      %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\databases
      %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\GPUcache
      %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\IndexedDB
      %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\Local Storage
      %appdata%\Microsoft\teams\tmp
