Signinname field not allowing @ character

Hi Team,

we are using signinname property for storing username in our ad b2c custom policy. But when user tried to sign up and use a username which contains @ character then it is not allowed

i saw this field ia string with no restrictions.. stil it is not allowing

Can someone please help and tell what all characters are not allowed and where i can find this information?

    Hi @Ronnie Kapoor , certain characters such as "@" are restricted in Azure resources. You can find the full list here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-resource-manager/management/resource-name-rules

    User created restrictions are mainly to prevent profanity but Azure doesn't allow certain characters by default. Please let me know if you have any questions!
