Importing Data from folder to Power Query returning error that data is corrupted but can import directly from file's individual table

This is a new one for me. I normally don't have any issues with combining files from folders to PQ, but in this instance, I am met with the error that 'could not connect- corrupted data". I've cleaned up all the data to ensure there is no formatting or labelling concerns. But am met with the with each attempt. Now, I can go directly to each individual file and Get Data from Table to import with no issues. The concern is the folder has a lot of files and we anticipate more. Aside from copying and resaving the data to a new excel workbook and possibly working these files in safe mode, what other options am I overlooking?

    Hi Tec[h]duck

#1 Could you provide the exact error message you get please? I'm 99.99% sure "could not connect- corrupted data" doesn't exist in Power Query error messages

#2 Could you please take a moment to review your previous cases and take the appropriate actions:

    Thanks in advance
