USB 2.0 Audio device enumerated but Code 10 error returned.

I have a SoC development kit with an integrated USB controller. I have written firmware and configured it to act as USB Audio 2.0 device (peripheral). The kit should appear as a microphone with an audio streaming input over an Isochronous IN endpoint. For now, the kit transmits samples stored in memory.

When it is connected to my PC (runs Windows 10), it is correctly identified as USB Audio 2.0 device and the inbuilt Windows USB Audio 2 driver is loaded for it.
However, a Code 10 error, "This device cannot start, the request is not supported " is thrown, and my kit fails to appear as an input device under System->Sound.

I have read Microsoft's USB Audio 2 driver developer documentation, and I believe my device configuration doesn't violate any requirements or restrictions set in place by the driver.

In comparison, when connected to a Raspberry Pi 3b+ running Raspbian, the RPi detects my kit/board without any issues, and I am able to use libraries such as PyAudio to read the stream of samples.

I have attached the Device Descriptors, which contain information about the interface and endpoint configuration as well. Is there anything within it that might help explain the issue I am facing over getting my kit recognized as a functioning USB Audio 2.0 microphone/input device?

Thanks.

    Hello @Ali Rahman ,

    Thank you for your question.

Please follow these steps, it will help you:

Uninstall the driver and reinstall :

Right-click on the problematic device and choose Properties, followed by the Driver tab, for some options.

Selecting Roll Back Driver will undo any recent updates and go back to the previous version. This is only accessible if there's an older version to revert to, however.

If you can't do this, you'll need to select Uninstall Device to completely remove it from your system. After doing so, reboot. Windows should install generic drivers for some devices, like mice and keyboards, upon restarting. However, you'll likely have to reinstall any manufacturer-specific drivers, like those for gaming mice, manually.

Hopefully, a refreshed driver will cause the code 10 error to stop.

If the reply was helpful, please don't forget to upvote or accept as answer.

    Thanks,
