I have tried to use CoPilot since buying MS 365 Pro this morning. Personal account. Tried using it, got an error (as above). Used simple requests, same error.

Went to the introductory training video and typed in the exact request in the video “Write a paper on the benefits of design thinking”. Same error.

Can someone assist?

Thanks!

Adam.

    I have the same problem.

I have a home computer running my personal MS365 account. It is also linked to my business onedrive (which I am paying for) and my wifes (which she is paying for). The account shown in each program is my personal one.

I cannot search my work email in outlook only my one personal account (that is rubbish) and in powerpoint, the copilot pro icon would not show up, then I found I must update license (which I did, to the same license). Then it showed up and I found it would not work on a file that I made on my personal outlook but saved to a work onedrive.

I think MS have locked it down to within an inch of its life.

MS did not lock down taking the extra subscription fee though.

I’m facing a similar issue. I subscribed to the Copilot Pro personal plan a week ago and integrated it with my always up-to-date Office 365 family plan (@hotmail) on my Mac. However, the “Rewrite with Copilot” feature in Word’s Copilot Pro only functioned once, yesterday, for about an hour. Before then and since, I’ve been constantly receiving the error message “Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes” at all times of the day. I expect this service to be reliable and this issue is frustrating.

Upon reaching out to customer support, they instructed me to sign out of Office 365 on my Mac, uninstall the entire Office 365 suite, reboot my machine, and then reinstall the software. I followed these steps three days ago, but the error persists when I attempt to use Word's “Rewrite with Copilot” feature. Interestingly, all other features of Copilot Pro seem to be working as expected. I need assistance to resolve this issue.

Same thing happened to me. However I'm able to use Copilot in the desktop application on my Mac for Word and Powerpoint, but no luck with Excel. I've even tried the web version of the excel, but the preview version of Copilot always takes forever to generate anything but an error message.
