    Dear Shannon McGowan1,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

From your description It seems you want to know to upload a video file (mp4) bigger than 50 megabytes within a page in SharePoint.

I reviewed your question and recommend using the OneDrive client to sync and upload large files to your SharePoint site at full bandwidth.

Click the sync icon and drag the file to the directory using your file explorer.

You also can use this official article Use the video and rich media feature in SharePoint to active Video and Rich Media” feature and then I set up Asset library to unload video file and it seems work as expected. See image below for your reference:

The files in SharePoint library are stored in OneDrive so they follow the same restriction and limitations. Please check this article for information in detail: Restrictions and limitations in OneDrive and SharePoint.

For the second one, drag and drop/Upload button are actually the same thing and the process is same as upload the file in OneDrive, there is no specific differences between them.

Your understanding and patience will be highly appreciated.

If there is any misunderstanding, please feel free to correct me.

    Have a nice day!

    Best Regards,

    Sophia
