How do you Restrict Sharing of other users for a OneDrive Folder

Question

I have shared a OneDrive file. I am not an Admin, but I only want two people to access a specific folder, me and another employee. I do not want them to be able to share this folder with anyone else, as it has sensitive information that only us two should see, but I do want them to be able to edit the documents in their folder only.

We understand the importance of keeping those files confidential, and we share your worries. We carefully check in our resources, and it turns out that this feature is not yet implemented with OneDrive. This is actually a good feature, and we appreciate you for sharing it to us.

While we understand that this is not possible yet as of the moment, you can still take part of the change for future updates in OneDrive by sharing your thoughts or suggestions to our developers via the Feedback Hub app or Microsoft Feedback Web Portal. They might be able to look into it and find ways to include in the next updates.

Meanwhile, can still leave this thread open for other community members to participate and share their opinion.

Unfortunately, I do not have access to permissions as I am not an Admin. Also, I want them to be able to edit still. There doesn't seem to be a function where they can edit but not allowed to share as I tried the combinations in there.

I also even tried "People I choose," but the Employee is still able to share it with anyone.

It seems that if they have the "can edit" option they can choose to share it. Also, I don't even know if permissions can prevent people from sharing but still edit. Please tell me if this is not true.

• Stop sharing OneDrive or SharePoint files or folders, or change permissions - Microsoft Support

This will prevent those users from sharing the folder with anyone else.
