Have a customer that is trying to import pictures from a .pdf into publisher, and when she does that the pictures are showing up blank. She is taking the picture from a .pdf and trying to move it to publisher but will not import them. Have made sure everything is up to date, have reinstalled publisher, and ran the office repair. Is there any other fix or system issue I should check? It worked fine until about a month ago. All the text shows up, just not the pictures.

    Dear Justin

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

Hello, your problem from importing a pdf containing images to Pubulisher does not allow you to import the text from the images into Publisher, I think this is a problem with the Publisher application.

I reproduced your problem in my tests when importing a multi-page pdf document containing images into the Publisher component of the Home Edition of Microsoft 365, either by copying and pasting directly or by inserting - object - generate from file - selecting the pdf that you want to import, both of which end up presenting a text box with a shortcut to the file, and do not contain any of the document's content.

We suggest you go to Publisher Program - File - Feedback - I have something I'm not satisfied with to submit your feedback about this feature. You mentioned that it worked fine about 1 month ago, so your problem should be due to a program version update.

    Sincerest greetings
