    Hello, shalu kumari

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

To avoid any redundant efforts, I’d like to gather a bit more information about the location of the file in question. Could you please confirm if the file is saved within your OneDrive folder? Or is it possibly located in a folder that isn’t set to sync with OneDrive? Some users have experienced similar issues when files are placed in folders designated for synchronization.

Additionally, do you have any antivirus software installed on your computer that scans files? Occasionally, files scanned by antivirus programs can become corrupted.

Lastly, could you kindly provide a detailed list of all the troubleshooting methods you’ve attempted? This will help us ensure we don’t repeat any steps you’ve already tried.

Looking forward to your response so we can assist you further.

    Hi Yuhao.L - MSFT,

I have concerns about opening Excel files in Windows Microsoft Excel. The file in .xlsx format does not open in Microsoft Excel but successfully in LibreOffice. Attached is a screenshot showing the different systems (Windows and LibraryOffice) where this occurs.

Can you please provide a better solution for why this is happening and how I can open this file in the same format in Microsoft Excel?

    Windows
