Microsoft Teams Windows Desktop Client Hangs on Close - How to bug report?

As some others have been reporting for at least the past year, the Microsoft Teams Windows Desktop Client hangs on close when the "On close, keep the application running" setting is UNCHECKED and the upper-right-corner "X" is used to close the window.

If that setting is checked, Teams works as you'd expect: the main window closes, but the app keeps running. The taskbar tool is still visible and functional, and clicking it (or re-launching Teams) brings back the window right away.

HOWEVER, if the setting is UNCHECKED, clicking the upper-right-corner "X" closes the main window, but not the app. The taskbar tool is still visible, but it is not functional. Clicking it, or attempting to re-launch Teams, results in an additional hung process starting, but the Teams window never comes back. You are required to use the "QUIT" choice from the Taskbar tool, or use the Windows Task Manager to kill the processes, before you can restart teams.

I've seen this asked several times in several places. Whenever it gets asked, a Microsoft Community Member comes in, posts some things, and marks their post as "the answer". In one case, (question 281426 on this site), the engineer responded by saying, "Yes, I've tested this and it is broken, I've confirmed it's broken" - and then THAT gets marked as "the answer".

The end result of all this is that the issue - while both ongoing and pervasive - falls off Microsoft's radar, and gets no attention.

So my request here is: What is the proper way to get Microsoft's attention and file a bug report for this so that it gets fixed?

I see threads here:
https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/908686-bug-reports/suggestions/42613744-teams-doesn-t-close
and here:

and here:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/281426/ms-teams-desktop-app-does-not-close-fully.html
and many other places...

... but even though this has been going on for a year, and is a clear PC resource contention issue, it's still not getting any attention.

So can someone point me to the "official" place to report Teams bugs? Is there even such a place? I like Teams, and want to see it grow and succeed even more, but... bugfixes are important!

Thanks in advance for any clue bats!
