Exchange 2019 MetaCacheDatabase Configuration

Hi,

I have just been following the Exchange 2019 Microsoft article about MetaCacheDatabase (MCDB) setup.
The link is https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/high-availability/database-availability-groups/metacachedatabase-setup?view=exchserver-2019&source=docs

Step 1 suggests that the DAG needs to be configured with the correct parameters and one of the parameters is AutoDagTotalNumberOfDatabases .
Does anyone know if this is after the number of Active databases in the DAG or the total number of Active and Passive databases in the DAG?

Regards,

Matt

    @MatthewRidleyDigitalandICTServices-8427

    From the "Manage-MetaCacheDatabase.ps1" script (Exchange Server\V15\Scripts), I think the value of AutoDagTotalNumberOfDatabases is the Active Database in your DAG:

    If it is the total number of Active and Passive, it will not need to use ”AutoDagTotalNumberOfDatabases*AutoDagDatabaseCopiesPerDatabase“

    I like the way you are thinking KyleXu and looking at the script line you have mentioned I think your thought process is right, however I was hoping that someone might have replied that has actually configured the MCDB and so has experience of what the parameter should be.
