I cannot get into my other account because 2 factor authorization has not been set up and it won't allow me to sign in WITHOUT 2 factor authorization. I cannot access codes to get signed in and set up. No phone or email has been added to the account.

    Dear Robert M 1969

    Thank you for your reply.

For that, if you are the only user it means you are admin yourself, for this, I'm willing to help you, but since this is a public website accessible to all customers, we lack permission, so we can't collect your private admin or account information for further assistance. For this reason, I sincerely suggest that you Get support - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn.

Note: For the hotline, it is now an AI instruction to ask a question, you need to answer some questions to reach the support, better use some keywords like billing problem, account problem.

Your understanding and cooperation will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your precious time, have a nice day.

    Sincerely

    Katherine

Thank you. This is a business account. Just me though, sole employee. I cannot log in because the authenticator app wasn't set up and now won't verify my account. I am in an endless loop of getting requests for verification codes that can't be generated.

    Dear Robert M 1969

    Thanks for choosing Microsoft Community.

Based on your description, I know the scenario you are meeting. For this, I need to confirm with you whether this account is Microsoft365 for Business account or personal account (outlook.com or hotmail.com)?

If this is Microsoft365 for Business account, I need to check with you whether you are admin yourself, if you are not admin, please be kindly to contact your admin for help. For this, you need to contact your admin to disable MFA or change MFA method for you in admin center. Here is the reference: Set up multifactor authentication for users - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn and Manage authentication methods for Microsoft Entra multifactor authentication | Microsoft Learn . If you choose disable MFA for you, you can log in your account just with account and password.

If you are using personal account or you are admin yourself, please feel free to update me. I will continue to help you based on the information you provide. Your understanding and co-operation are highly appreciated.

Thank you for your precious time. Have a nice day.

    Sincerely

    Katherine
