Hi Ben Watson3,
Thank you for reaching out. I understand you're facing issues with syncing your MS Form to the Excel workbook after moving the form to a Teams channel. Let's walk through some steps to resolve this:
1. Ensure Proper Permissions: The Excel file is typically stored in a SharePoint document library, and permission issues can sometimes disrupt syncing. To avoid any such issues, please add yourself as a "Site Admin" for the SharePoint site where the Excel file is stored. This will ensure you have full control over the file and its permissions. Please ask assistance from Team owner to help perform it.
- Go to the SharePoint site where the Excel file is stored.
- Click the gear icon in the top-right corner, then select Site permissions > Advanced permission settings
- Under Site collection admins, add your account as an admin if it's not already listed.
2. Try "Sync Response to New Workbook":
- Once the workbook is in the correct location with proper permissions, try using the "Disconnect and Sync to a New Workbook" option in MS Forms to establish a fresh connection and see if that resolves the sync problem.
3. Check if you are able to view the response workbooks of other forms in the same group
Please create a new form from the same group and check if you are able to generate the response workbook on the new form.
4. Make a copy of the affected form.
Please make a copy of the affected form and check if there is any problem with the copied form.
5. Move forms to the affected group and a different Group:
- Create 2 new personal form for testing.
- Move one to the affected group and the other one to a different group (It is better to create a new group and move the Form to this new group.)
- Check if the sync issue persists on the new group and the affected group.
Let me know if any of these steps help or if the issue persists. I’d be happy to assist further if needed.
