Stuck in an Authenticator loop

I have successfully gone through the process of downloading the Microsoft Authenticator app, adding my work email account, and scanning the QR code. But when I go to actually sign back into my work email, I get prompted to restart this whole process over. It does not let me sign into my account. How do I resolve this issue?

    How do any of these solutions help, when what you're asking leads back to signing into an account which leads to the same authenticator loop?
