How to add work & personal accounts to certification profile with same email address?

Question

Both my work (primary) and personal (rarely used) Microsoft accounts share the same email address, so I select which one to use when logging in. I created a Microsoft certification profile with my main work account but I was then told that I had to link/connect my personal account to the certification profile since the certificates are tied to a personal account, but it won't let me add my personal account because it is already tied to an account from the same domain (see error below). How can I fix this?
