I have an Office 2024 Professional Plus key, a link in a question with the same title gives a link.

I tried this on a machine with Office 365 already installed as I want an ISO file to install on another machine.

It proceeds and finally says 365 is installed, no sign of 2024.

Where can I get the correct ISO please?

    Dear GeorgeTillett2

Thanks for raising your concerns in Microsoft Community.

Based on your description, I understand that you have encountered the problem that Office 2024 cannot be activated successfully. I understand your feelings, and this problem is indeed troubling.

First, you need to confirm whether your account does have a license for Office 2024. Since Office Professional Plus 2024 is a batch activation, please first confirm whether your account has been assigned a license.

If you confirm that the account has been associated with the product, you can refer to the following steps to clear the license information in the computer and let the Office application re-identify it. If you want to reinstall, you can click this link to download the installation package of Office Professional Plus 2024.

📌Office Professional Plus 2024: Click here to download

    📌Clean Office licenses:

    • Open any Office component, sign out of all accounts logged in to the [Account] interface, and close all Office components.
    • Press Windows+S on the keyboard, search for [CMD], right-click, run as administrator, and enter:
      cd C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office16

If the message path is incorrect, enter:
    cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office16

    • Enter:
      cscript ospp.vbs /dstatus
The last five characters of the installed product key: XXXXX will be displayed, as:

    • Enter the following command + the last five characters of the key:
      cscript ospp.vbs /unpkey:
    • Add the last five characters of the displayed key [for example: cscript ospp.vbs /unpkey:DV3TM]
If more than one key is displayed, you must repeat the command several times with a different key after the command.

    • Then, open any Office component and sign in to your account to see if the activation was successful.

Since your version of Office is Professional Plus, questions about this version are more suitable to be posted on Microsoft Learn (English only), because more users post these questions there. Therefore, if you still cannot activate Office after referring to the above steps, please click [Ask a question] in the forum, where experts can provide more professional solutions.
