Excel file work disappeared, how do I recover it?

Hello,

I have been working on an excel spreadsheet on my Ipad for the part few days and everything has saved smoothly. I went to open it on my Microsoft Windows laptop and it showed the first saved version of it with none of the recent work I have done throughout the past week and a half. I do not know how to recover it and was wondering if anyone could help. I have tried looking into hidden files and version history but neither of those have worked.

Thanks!

    Hi Olivia Zale

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

You want to get them back. I understand your feelings and I will try my best to help you.

The only thing you can try is the following two methods to see if you have luck:

    1. If you are a Microsoft 365 subscriber, you can choose to undo all operations on files in the past 30 days and get help from the following thread:

Restore your OneDrive files - Microsoft Support

    1. If you have uploaded OneDrive and still cannot find the file after trying the above steps, it is recommended that you contact OneDrive's support team to help you find the file data in OneDrive's cloud server. They can help you access the data information and view it at a higher level. You can send an email to OneDrive via the following link:

We sincerely hope you can get your files back!

    Best Regards,
