Does Xamarin 14.20 exist? If so, how can I persuade VS 2019 to use it?

Went through the usual upgrade-hell-cycle of MacOS->Xcode->VS2019 and my VS says this when pairing to my Mac:

However 14.20 is not listed as a version on the Latest Release page. So why is my VS 2019 demanding it?

And yes, I cannot build anything iOS-Xamarin at this point.

Yes, according to the document Xamarin.iOS release notes and API changes, we can only get Xamarin.iOS 16.19.

So a workaround is uninstalling the Xamarin.iOS on your Mac using the script provides in Uninstall Xamarin.iOS.

Then download and install Xamarin.iOS 16.19. When you re-connect to Mac with Visual Studio, it may pop up "Xamarin.iOS versions mismatch". Just select "Cancel => OK". Now you can use Xamarin.iOS normally.

Checking the Xamarin.iOS Release on GitHub, we see that xamarin-ios-14.20.0.24 exists. For this issue "14.20.0.25", you can submit an issue on GitHub: xamarin/xamarin-macios.
