Why do not all columns in a SharePoint list show up as options to include in a Form when using the new Forms functionality in Sharepoint?

I have a list of columns in a SharePoint list and I want to start using the new Forms feature to allow users to submit data that will go into this SharePoint list. However, not all of the fields I want to show in the form are available in the "Show or Hide Fields" section under Customise when I set up the form. The field type is 'Multiple Lines of Text' and there are other fields of that same type that do show as options for me so I do not believe the field type limitations apply here. Is there a numerical limit to how many fields can show on a form, and if so how do I remove the options from the Show or Hide Fields section that I won't be using?

I haven't come across that-how many fields are included in the form and can you post a screenshot?

Added screenshot to original post. Overall, about 30 fields. I don't need or want to see them all. There's just one that is missing, called "Prompt." You see it in the list of columns above but it mysteriously is not available in the Form configuration below, but all other fields are.

I've run into this as well. Open a single list entry and select the pencil icon at the top-right. Select Edit Columns and select the fields you wish to see. This setting is for ensuring the field appears in the "form" for a list entry/modification, but also for appearing in any built-in forms that you're creating.

    Hi,

I figured out the solution. You have to add the columns to the single item edit view (not edit in grid) in order to add them to your form.
