Compatibility Issues with Third-Party Tools on Windows

Hi all,

I have been experiencing some issues with trying to run third-party tools on Windows. Specifically, compatibility and performance are issues when trying to run third-party tools in tandem with Windows Defender and other built-in security features.

Does anyone else experience this problem? Are there certain settings or configurations in Windows that would help solve this conflict?

Additionally, I would be curious to know if some Windows updates interfere with the tools in question. Any other advice or insights would be very much appreciated!

Thanks for your time!

    Dear asher,

Hello! Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

It looks like you are running a third-party tool and Windows Defender and other built-in security features at the same time. And you are having some issues in the process. I understand your feelings.

I really wish I could handle your issue, but unfortunately, the issue of combining Defender with third-party tools is beyond the scope of community support. We mainly provide basic technical support to users. To me, you are the expert in this area.

It would be more appropriate to post it to Microsoft Learn (English only), where there are more advanced forums and more users posting these issues. You can click "Ask a question" to see if you can get more valuable responses. In addition, I will keep this thread open, and if anyone has any ideas, feel free to reply.

Here is a link to the forum where you can propose specific solutions and share your ideas to help solve the problem.

    Best wishes
