Hyperlink not displaying correctly in microsoft word
When attempting to insert hyperlink to a web address (URL), both using insert tab or CTRL + K, it shows as {HYPERLINK "[address/URL]"} instead of the normal blue highlighted text that can be clicked on to go to the linked website page. Never had issues in all my years using words (over a decade), what is going on?

Hi HansV, thank you for the quick reply. I tried highlighting the bracketed hyperlink and hitting Alt+F9 but it just adds an additional bracket. Do you know of any guides online to fix this issue?
