Citations/endnote numbers no longer jump to end of the document (Word for Mac)

Question

As an editor, I often click on endnote numbers to jump between the endnote and its citation at the end of the document. For some reason, very recently, the endnote numbers no longer do this. How can I restore the jumping functionality?

This is a known issue reported by some but not all users. Please use Help> Feedback to voice your concern to the development group. You also can VOTE for other postings on the Word · Feedback portal.
