Cannot add a new app

Hi there

I am a part of a SharePoint group, but I do not see the "+ New" feature on the "Home" page, and therefore I cannot add an App (e.g. like "Calendar"). 

What permission level do I need?

    You need to have at least Edit permission for the site to see the "+ New" feature on the "Home" page.
