Hi,
We are using Sharepoint 2019 and we want to migrate our Workflow Manager SQL databases from SQL Server 2016 (Always On) to SQL Server 2019 AO (The workflow manager servers are not migrated and remain the same).
Will the databases restored on SQL Server 2019 be compatible with our following current configuration? :
Also, we used SQL aliases to reference databases on WF Manager. Are the following actions sufficient to change SQL Server ? :

This will work fine how ever in SP 2019 version number for SB1.1 is 2.0.50926.9.
you need to restore the database ( not all of them just few that shows up in the configuration wizard of WF manager).
Install service bus and WFM bits (if using TLS 1.2).
Run the WFM configuration wizard with the restored database names.
Make sure services are running.
Easy to perform all steps on a single server. Make sure single server farm is working and then add additional farm member in case you have 3 server farm.

However I don't want to reinstall WF Manager and Service bus because I keep existing servers where they are installed. Only SQL databases will have to be moved to a new SQL 2019.
Do I still have to reinstall WFM et SB ?? I just have to change SQL ALIAS to point to the new SQL Server so it finds the associated database right ?

If you are keeping the same WF servers. no need to reinstall. Just point the SQL alias to the new SQL server, make sure permissions are same as on previous instance and it should be good.

On the following article about Workflow Manager CU5, SQL Server 2019 is not mentioned (only SQL 2017 is indicated). Is Workflow Manager supported by Microsoft on SQL Server 2019?

I think Workflow Mnager is supported by SQL Server 2019. But you must change the compatibility model of the databases to version 120(the default Compatibility Level iDesignation of SQL Server 2019 is 150). You can change compatibility level with below commands.
