I've followed the instructions from here to try and redeem and add my Office 2024 product key to Microsoft account.
It appears to be working, until I get to these links:
However once I click on either of them, I get an error message:
I've tried this process on both my MacBook and Windows PC.
Processes in Microsoft 365 for setting up Office apps, redeeming product keys, and activating licenses.

I am in a loop where I can redeem the product key then it goes to the Download page and then the service unavailable page. The program does not appear under products you've purchased in my account so the code is not being redeemed?

What edition of Office 2024 have you purchased, is that Home and Student, Office Pro Plus... etc?

Log into your Microsoft account on this link, do you find your Office licence listed there?

In that case, because this forum is just a user to user forum, the best option is to try using this method to contact their support to get their support to provide you with a working link to activate and download Office 2024.
Go to this link: https://support.microsoft.com/contactus
Select Microsoft 365
Click 'Get Home Support'.
In the box provided, type billing.
Press Enter, then on the next page, scroll down and click 'Sign in to Contact Support'.
Navigate to Microsoft 365 and Office - Manage my Subscription.
Select the 'Chat with support agent in web browser' option

It is the big 2026, still facing Service Unavailable Problem 😭, the key I bought is now useful for nothing.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but an error message when trying to redeem a product key and/or install Office usually means that someone has sold you license which isn't an actual consumer product, such as Office Professional 2024 or any of the other volume license products which are for (large) organizations such as corporations. Ask the seller for your money back.

I have been having this same problem for literal months. I have attempted to contact customer support via chat, but it won't allow me to because I'm an Office 2024 customer, which they don't offer support for. I did manage to find a way through to chat at one point, but I waited a couple hours to get to the front of the queue (constantly monitoring so I didn't get booted for inactivity), and once I got to the front, it gave me an error message that said the service was unavailable. I have actually purchased the product twice because I thought it was my error the first time, and am unable to use either due to Microsoft's server issues (which I believe are intentional to get people to subscribe to 360). This is an absolute nightmare, and I'm running out of time for the project I need this for. I paid for it, and I need Microsoft to please help me!

Which specific license is this? Office Home 2024? Office Home & Business 2024? Or some other version?
Note that some versions are sold by third-party resellers to consumers as consumer products, when they are actually organization (business) versions under volume licensing. These versions often can't be installed at all, or they work for a while and later stop working.
Thank you for that information, there seems to be a sever-side problem that is causing that error, how long have you been trying to activate and install office.
