    Dear @ezron kipkoech,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A Community.

I understand that the system is telling you your card details are invalid even though you believe all the information you entered is correct. This is a common and perplexing problem with online payments.

The "invalid card details" error is a generic message, and it can be triggered by several things beyond just a typo in the card number or expiration date. Before we can provide a targeted solution, could you please provide a little more information?

    • Is this a credit card or a debit card? Some online services, especially for subscriptions, might have restrictions on certain types of debit cards.
    • Are you using a virtual card, gift card, or a pre-paid card? These can sometimes be rejected by payment systems.
    • Have you double-checked the following details?
      • Card Number: Ensure there are no typos.
      • CVV/Security Code: This is the 3 or 4-digit code on the back of the card.
      • Expiration Date: Make sure you are entering the correct month and year.
      • Billing Address: The billing address you enter in the form must exactly match the address your bank has on file for that card. A mismatch here is a very common cause of this error.
      • Have you tried using a different web browser or clearing your browser's cache and cookies? Sometimes, old data in your browser can cause conflicts with payment forms.
      • What kind of payment are you trying to make? Is it for a new Microsoft 365 subscription, an in-app purchase, etc.?

In the meantime, a simple but effective step is to try entering the card details a second time, very carefully, to rule out any small typos. If the problem persists, the additional information you provide will help us narrow down the cause and find a solution.
