how do i fix error 0x80073712

Im trying to install an update to my ASUS vivobook for windows. I keep getting error message 0x80073712 can you please help?

In the search bar, type Winver and hit Enter. Please share a screenshot of that window.
Go to Settings > System > Windows Update. Take a screenshot and share it here. Please do not include your email address.
Could you list the troubleshooting steps you've tried to avoid repeating them, if any?

I've tried restarting the computer and reinstalling it. I've also tried the troubleshooting tools.

Thank you for your reply. Please try performing the following and then update your computer again:

1. Execute the Windows Update troubleshooter:

Navigate to Start > Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters > Windows Update, then click Run.

2: Reset Windows Components

In your search bar type CMD and right-click it, select run as administrator Copy and paste each of the commands below then Enter:

**net stop wuauserv

net stop cryptSvc

net stop bits

net stop msiserver

Ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old

Ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 Catroot2.old

net start wuauserv

net start cryptSvc

net start bits

net start msiserver**

Restart your PC once done and then try again.

**3: Run SFC and DISM **
