I have unwanted popup from Avast antivirus and understand that this is Malware. MS Defender tells me that TPM (I have TPM2.0 on Win 10) will delete Malware, but this obviously has not happened!

I have unwanted popups (and now unwanted security checks) that I have never requested from Avast antivirus and understand that this is Malware. MS Defender tells me that TPM (I have TPM2.0 on Win 10) will delete Malware, but this obviously has not happened! How do I delete the Avast Malware, which now begins running a security check everytime I open my laptop. I DO NOT have an Avast App on my laptop and never have requested one.

How did the pop up happen? Is it in web browser when you are browing the internet as pop up, or does it pop up from the bottom right corner?
