Hi,

since Intune can hadle the 'BYOD', if a user brings a personal laptop with 'W10-Home' to use MS Outlook and OneDrive during COVI19:

  • is there a way to install some 'intune client' on that laptop?
    • since it´s 'Home' version, could the user log-on on windows with corporate account instead local user account?
    • can we remotelly set up (automatically) these 02 apps with corp account?
  • after some period, is there a way to remotelly remove outlook profile and OneDrive account (both corp)?

tks,

Hi Renato, you need to enrool the device:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/user-help/enroll-windows-10-device

Once is enrolled yo can manage the device, also have in mind that when the user logs in Outlook, captures the information and you ca see it in Azure AD.

Basically, to sign in to Windows with the corporate user account, the Windows 10 device must be joined in Azure AD, which is not supported for Windows 10 Home edition.

Therefore, it's not possible to sign in with corporate account instead of local user account.

However, you still can manage the Windows 10 Home edition device by using Intune. But firstly, you must guide the user to enroll the device in Intune.

    Hi @AndyLiu-MSFT ,

    tks for quick reply.

    About your texts:

"Therefore, it's not possible to sign in with corporate account instead of local user account."
Unfortunatelly, we realize that in real case.

"However, you still can manage the Windows 10 Home edition device by using Intune."
What kind of "manage" we can accomplish? Install some app? Set up some policies?
