I have separated my Chat and Teams Channel page. Since a recent Teams upgrade, I click on my Teams button and it only stays in or takes me to chat. But since it is separated, I do not see my channels in this area. HELP.

    Hello @Amanda B

It's wonderful news that the issue has been resolved. I believe that many users may encounter similar issue, and your case could serve as a valuable reference for them. Therefore, I would make a brief summary of this post so that other forum members could easily find useful information here:

    Issue Description:
After separating the Chat and Teams Channel pages in Microsoft Teams, clicking the Teams button redirects the user to the Chat view only. The Channels are not visible or accessible from this area, causing confusion and disruption in workflow.

    Assessment:
This behavior began following a recent Teams upgrade. It appears to be a UI routing issue, possibly linked to layout changes in the new Teams client. The problem may affect users who have customized their layout to separate Chat and Channels.

    More information:
The user resolved the issue by going into computer settings and performing a Teams reset. This action restored the expected behavior, allowing access to Channels from the Teams button.

We kindly encourage you to mark it as Accepted Answer. This will help highlight the solution at the top of the thread, making it easier for others experiencing the same issue to quickly find useful guidance,
