Is Adcelerate an official Microsoft partner for MSN/Microsoft Start content monetization?

Hello,

I recently received an email from a company called Adcelerate (under Enfinity Limited).

They invited me to join a so-called "Microsoft Creator Monetization Program," claiming that my content could be distributed across MSN, Microsoft Start, Bing, and Edge to generate ad revenue.

However, the sender also mentioned they are not Microsoft employees.

I could not find any official confirmation that Adcelerate is recognized by Microsoft as an authorized partner.

Could you please confirm:

  1. Does Microsoft officially have a Creator Monetization program for MSN or Microsoft Start?
  2. Is Adcelerate (Enfinity Limited) officially recognized by Microsoft as a distribution/monetization partner?
  3. If yes, is there an official Microsoft link or partner page where this program and partner list are published?

I want to ensure this offer is legitimate before proceeding.

    Hi @Seongjoon Seo,

Thanks for using Microsoft product and posting in the Microsoft Q&A.

It's very wise of you to seek verification before proceeding with an offer like this. I can certainly understand your desire to ensure the legitimacy of any program involving your content and monetization, and I'm here to help clarify the situation for you.

Based on our official resources, here's what I can tell you:

    • Microsoft Creator Monetization Program: Microsoft has legitimate programs for content creators and publishers to monetize their work on our platforms, but the specific name "Microsoft Creator Monetization Program" is not an official Microsoft brand name. The central hub for this is the MSN Partner Hub, where approved creators can manage their content and earn ad revenue. There's also the Bing News PubHub for news publishers.
    • Adcelerate (Enfinity Limited) Partnership: A search of our official partner directories doesn't show that Adcelerate or its parent company, Enfinity Limited, is a publicly recognized Microsoft content distribution or monetization partner. While some third-party companies do work with Microsoft to facilitate content distribution, there is no official, public confirmation of a partnership with Adcelerate.

Given that the sender explicitly stated they are not Microsoft employees and the program name isn't one we officially use, I would advise you to be cautious.

If you're interested in distributing your content and earning revenue on our platforms, I recommend you work directly through our official channels. You can learn about becoming a content partner and apply directly through the official MSN Partner Hub. This is the most secure way to engage with Microsoft for content monetization.

Your diligence in checking these details is commendable and helps protect the entire creator community. I hope this information provides the clarity you were looking for.

If you have any more questions or if there's anything else I can assist you with, please don't hesitate to reply to this message.

    Warm regards
