I have quite a few bookmarks in Edge that I regularly use for work. Until very recently I've been able to search through them successfully by using 'search favourites' via the favourites button.
However today I've noticed that the search results have completely changed. e.g. if I search for 'a thing' then it brings up a whole load of results that don't have 'a thing' anywhere in the bookmark name, but do have it in the URL.
Bookmarks which actually have 'a thing' in the name I've given them get presented at the bottom of the list (even when they ALSO have it in the URL), which makes no sense - surely the name I've given a bookmark should be much more important to the search feature rather than the URL? In the past I don't think it searched the URL at all.
The same thing happens if I go to edge://favorites and use the search feature there.
I can still find what I'm looking for by typing what I'm looking for in the address bar, but this is less reliable than the actual bookmark search used to be, and doesn't always find all the bookmarks I'm looking for.
Is there any way to change this setting or if any one from Microsoft is reading could you at least put the search results where there are matches in the bookmark name at the top rather than the bottom of the search results?
For information I'm on Version 139.0.3405.102 (Official build) (64-bit), which seems to be the most up to date version.
