I have 3 accounts on my Microsoft Account. Mine, my husbands and my sons. Theirs are added so I can monitor their email under my outlook. However, every so often Nearby Sharing switches to needing to be signed into. I click to sign in and my husbands account pops up asking for password. No option to choose me. I have to remove the other accounts and then no issue...until I add them again. LOL. But it is ME that is signed in to the laptop!

Hello. Is that account still linked to your device under Settings > Accounts?

Nearby Sharing uses the Microsoft account that Windows is signed into. To fix this, go to Settings > Accounts > Your info and confirm the correct account is signed in. If the wrong one is listed, switch to the right Microsoft account.

After that, turn Nearby Sharing off and back on under Settings > System > Nearby Sharing. This will refresh the account linked to the feature.

    best regards,
