I have multiple folders set up for different categories of information - a database for information. Within this i have an a-z folder with folders of all clients. within each client folder i want to have subfolders to all clients with a predetermined list of folders, can i do this?

There is no one-click solution for that. For example, you can create a sample customer folder with subfolders you prefer and then, whenever you create a new customer, just copy it. Of course, you can use powershell script, power automate or even some 3rd party solutions.

However, I would suggest to consider using meta data instead of using "old-school" approach with folders, subfolders and meta information in folder and file names. By using metadata instead you will unlock the full potential of SharePoint (Teams).
