Unable to complete Azure for Students verification

Hello,

I am a student at Korea National Open University. I have already received and confirmed the student verification email through my university email address ([****@knou.ac.kr]**).

However, when I log into the Azure Portal with my personal Microsoft account ([****@naver.com]**) and go to the Education section to claim the free student credits, I receive the following error message:

"We are unable to complete your Azure for Students verification."

Despite successful student verification via my university email, the subscription is not activated on my account.

Could you please check what is causing this issue and help me activate the Azure for Students subscription? I can provide additional documents such as my student enrollment certificate or the verification email screenshot if needed.

Thank you for your support.

    Hello JaeUk Lee,

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Q&A platform.

To activate your Azure for Students subscription you need to use the same email address for both student verification and claiming your credits. The school email you verify such as your @knou.ac.kr address must also be used to sign in to the Azure Portal.

If you try to redeem the subscription with a different personal Microsoft account like your @naver.com address, activation will not go through even if your academic status is verified. Always sign in with your verified university email to ensure successful activation of the Azure for Students subscription.

    Thanks,

    Suchitra.
