How do I stop Outlook from asking me if I want to stay logged in?

Within the last month or so, Outlook now asks me every time I log in if I want to stay signed in. I do not wish to stay signed in so I always choose "no". But this question reappears every single time I log in, which is very annoying. How do I stop it? I shouldn't have to keep answering the same question over and over again. I can't find anything in my account settings to turn this off, even an internet search doesn't bring up an answer.

    Hi,

Unfortunately, there’s no setting in Outlook to permanently turn off the "Stay signed in?" prompt; even with cookies enabled, the choice isn’t always remembered. This usually happens if you’re signed in with multiple Microsoft accounts, if your browser or extensions interfere with session cookies.

    Regards,

    Hi Andybann,

Nice to meet you! My name is Randy and I'm an independent advisor.

Outlook shows the "Stay signed in?" prompt because it relies on cookies to remember your choice; if your browser clears cookies on exit or blocks them, you’ll be asked every time. To reduce this, check that your browser isn’t deleting Microsoft/Outlook cookies, avoid using private browsing if you want the setting saved.

    Kind regards,
