REMOVE button Grayed out. I need to remove my computer PIN

Hello I am trying to remove my PIN on my computer. I am able to change PIN but not REMOVE it. I have tried multiple Troubleshooting steps and still am unable to.

Please turn off the slider titled:

For improved security, only allow Windows Hello sign-in for Microsoft accounts on this

device (Recommended)

This should disable the Sign in Windows Hello requirement, which should enable the Remove PIN button.

I wish I had an answer for you, but I do not. The reason is I’m having the same problem as well. I’m trying to take off my pin and does not work.
