Hello, I came across an unknown email address in Outlook contacts. There was no email exchange with this email address. I deleted and reinstalled the Outlook application 2-3 times, but it is still in my contacts. This is the email address I mentioned. 1b8d0zn45f4e63bd7h5c @ outlook com

Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

Reinstalling the app alone won’t always remove them. To help narrow this down, could you check:

    • If the contact also appears in Outlook Web https://outlook.live.com this will show if it’s stored in your account rather than just the app.
    • If your Outlook is linked with other email accounts (like Gmail or Exchange) that might have imported this contact.
    • If you see it under “Suggested Contacts” or “Other Contacts” instead of your main contact list.

If the contact also appears online in Outlook Web, try deleting it from there and see if it stays gone after syncing.

Click "Add comment" to let me know.

    Regards,

    John J.D.
