I’m having trouble keeping my screen from going dark in about 10 minutes. I’ve researched this site and others, and have already tried the following: Set both “Screen” and “Sleep” to NEVER when plugged in. Went to “Additional Power Settings” and settings for both “Turn off the display” and “Put the computer to sleep” are set for NEVER when plugged in. I even restored the default settings and then changed them back to NEVER (because one article said that might help).
Background: I leave my pc running 24/7, this issue just started about two months ago. Not sure if it was a driver update but since then I have updated everything just to be safe.
I’ve looked at the Advanced Settings and see there are options for Hard Disk, checked screensaver, checked all power settings, nothing has changed in any of those settings.
Hopefully someone smarter than myself can figure this out!

I've also reset to "never" and it still goes to sleep even though I'm plugged in. I'll try these suggestions but Microsoft apparently doesn't understand (or care) how difficult this makes their operating system to use. When I am using a Citrix connection for remote desktop use for work, it cuts off my connection every time it goes into sleep mode. Very frustrating.
I tried multiple hdmi cables, same results. I already did a factory reset on my monitor, disabled energy saving mode, still goes black after 10 mins.
"check under settings for any options to turn off HDMI power - either on the graphics card or on the monitor itself." I looked and I do not see anything in my settings or monitor to change this.

That setting may also be under the graphics card settings app say nVidia control panel or Intel control centre.
Have you tried a different monitor - a TV should have HDMI ports?
If you have dual graphics then try the integrated graphics card.
Check & disable USB selective suspend as this seems to affect HDMI according to some sites, old control panel>Hardware & sound>Power>change power settings>change plan settings>change advanced power settings>USB settings>Use Selective suspend settings change it to disabled.
In the end the monitor may be faulty.
