Unable to customize font in design

I report this problem through feedback portal two weeks ago, but no one replied, and it is still not fixed yet.
Usually under the design tab for word/powerpoint and page layout tab in excel, we are able to create a customized font set that will apply for the whole document. However, when I tried on my Mac, I am only allowed to choose from presets and cannot create my own customized font profile. This really harms how I manage and create slide templates. This is not a sole problem, but happens across all office software.
This article describes how it usually behaves.

Screen shot is attached. It is clear that there is no customize/create my own option.

    Hi Xinyi,

Nice to meet you! My name is Randy and I'm an independent advisor.

On a Mac, Office unfortunately doesn’t have the same "Customize Fonts" option that Windows does, which is why you’re only seeing the preset sets it’s more of a platform limitation than a bug. The workaround is to open the Slide Master in PowerPoint (or the template in Word/Excel) and manually set your preferred heading and body fonts, then save that file as a custom template so you can reuse it across projects. It’s a bit less direct than creating a font profile, but it achieves the same result, and saving it as a template means you won’t have to redo the font changes every time.

    Kind regards,
