Dear Microsoft Support Team,
I'm also trying to sign into the Microsoft 365 portal. I also can sign in to my Microsoft account, but I'm prompted to verify my identity via SMS and receive message:
Error Code: 399287
Request Id: xxxxxxxx-4bd4-4d67-ae47-348040e72d00
Correlation Id: xxxxxxxx-c02e-44c8-aca0-a25073e41c1b
Timestamp: 2025-09-07T14:50:58Z
I have tried to contact Microsoft multiple times in my country using multiple ways but so far without any help
@Raja Pothuraju I'm sorry to bother you again with this same problem, but i've found some places where you were incredibly helpful and managed to fix the issue. Would you be able to help me too?
And how can I send You all the necessery info via private message?
I'm writing from my private account as this problem occures on bussines acount that I cannot enter.

I understand you’re unable to log in to your Microsoft 365 account due to an MFA issue. The error code 399287 indicates that the multi-factor authentication method has been blocked because the phone number associated with it has a bad reputation.
- If there is another Global Administrator in your tenant, they can help you reset or re-register your MFA method.
If you are the only Global Admin, please share the following details with us via private message so we can investigate further:
- Email address
- Phone number
- Tenant ID
- Tenant Name
- Country and country code
