I too ask Microsoft to not retire Publisher. Word has been nothing but frustrating for my needs. It is cumbersome and inefficient.

If you have an older perpetual license which includes Publisher, such as Microsoft Office Professional 2021, you can continue using Publisher even after October 2026.

I have just leaned that Publisher is being retired next year. I am completely stressed out. I have thousands of work documents all done in publisher over many years. Word is not an acceptable alternative. Word has been nothing but frustrating. It is cumbersome and inefficient. You cannot place tables and images on the page without them going where ever they want. My Publisher files cannot be converted to Word as all the formatting will be wrong. PDF's are no use as I cannot alter them. Why retire such a great product without anything to replace it? There are so many users unhappy about this, why is Microsoft not listening? I will likely cancel my 365 subscription as I really only have it for Publisher. EXTREMELY DISAPOINTED IN MICROSOFT!!!
