Hello,
I cannot log into my Microsoft account (******@erciyes.edu.tr) because I lost access to my Microsoft Authenticator app when I switched to a new phone. Currently, the only verification method on my account is Microsoft Authenticator, and I do not have any backup methods (phone number or secondary email).
When I try to sign in, I am asked to approve the request or enter the code from Authenticator, but I no longer receive codes or notifications since the app was only set up on my old phone. As a result, I am completely locked out of my account.
I also contacted my university’s IT department to see if they could help me reset the MFA, but they told me that since the university does not have a Microsoft campus agreement, they do not have any authority to manage my account. So unfortunately, they cannot help me either.
Because of this, could you please help me reset the authentication methods (MFA) or guide me through the Account Reinstatement process so I can regain access to my account? I can provide any details required to prove ownership, such as previous password, last login dates, or devices used.
Thank you very much for your support.
Best regards, Fadimana Nisa Öztürk
