    Dear Marl McCracken,

Thank you for reaching out regarding the “Unpacking error – try again later” message you’re seeing when signing in. We understand that you’ve followed the recommended steps to resolve the issue, but the Tips app does not appear in your system files, which can make troubleshooting more difficult.

This error is commonly linked to the Microsoft Tips app failing to load properly. In some cases, the app may be hidden or not listed under installed applications. We recommend opening Settings > Apps > Installed Apps, then searching for “Tips.” If it appears, select the three dots next to it and choose Advanced Options, then try Repair or Reset. If the app is missing entirely, you can reinstall it using PowerShell with administrative privileges.

I hope this helps. Just kindly tick Accept Answer that others in the community facing similar issues can easily find the solution. Your contribution is highly appreciated.

    Best regards,

    Domic Vo
