How to display Recipient's name AND full email address in the 'To' field of Outlook 365

I recently updated from Windows 10 to Windows 11 on my PC. I was previously using the desktop version of Outlook 2019. After the update to W11, when I opened Outlook, it defaults to Outlook 365. I was going to go back to Outlook 2019 but I understand support will be discontinued soon so will continue on with 365 (unless there is an advantage to stay w/ Outlook 2019??).

When I created an email in Outlook 2019, the recipient in the 'To' field showed the name AND the full email address of the recipient. In Outlook 365, it only shows the name. Is there an option to turn on which will include the email address in the 'To' field? Thank you.

What type of email account do you have configured in Outlook? POP, IMAP, Outlook.com, or Microsoft Exchange?

Are you selecting the address from contacts, from the autocomplete list, or replying? The autocomplete list and replies should use the name and address.

Support for Office 2019 (and 2016) is ending on October 14, 2025. The office apps will continue to work but you won't get any security updates after that date. You should be ok for at least a few months into next year, but beyond that it really depends on your usage and whether you get a lot of files in email or from the web.
