Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
My gear icon is on the bottom right and when I click on it, it says class not registered. What does that mean? I just want the old format back!

I'm trying to use my pst file with my yahoo email on Outlook 2024. The YouTube tutorials refer to "Settings" in the upper right which was to be replaced by a gear. I find neither trying to set up my data file. Please help. Thanks.

P.S.
The Settings gear icon is in the new Outlook for Windows, on the right hand side of the title bar. See the screen shot below.
If you have Office Home & Business 2024, which includes the classic Outlook, you will find the application options at File > Options. Depending on the size of the Outlook app window, you may have to click File > More > Options instead.
