Data is being transferred from window 2008 to window 2012 R2.
When I installed the .net framework 3.5 and 4.5 after installing the IIS, I am inquiring about the following differences.
In the IIS server administrator, when the CLR version in the application pool is .netframework v2.0 and v4.0, the number of icons is different when checked on asp.net on the site.

  • When Windows 2008, CLR version.netframework v2.0, 15 can be used when checking asp.net.
  • When windows 2012 R2 and netframework v2 and 12 v4, when asp.net is checked, it becomes 15.
  • When .net CLR v2, there are no 12 (suppliers, .net users, .net roles) when checking asp.net.
  • When it's .net CLR v4, 15 if you check asp.net.

I have a question. If the 2012 R2 server needs to continue developing it,
Which part of the associated docs should be searched (why compatibility and number vary)
We would like to ask if there is any problem if we should continue to use v2 or v4 when we move the server data.
