    Hi,

Nice to meet you! I'm Randy, an Independent Advisor.

To access your Windows 10 PC from your Windows 11 computer, make sure both are on the same Wi-Fi or Ethernet network set as Private, then enable Network discovery and File and printer sharing on both (found under Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center > Advanced sharing settings). On the Windows 10 PC, right-click a folder you want to share, go to Properties > Sharing > Advanced Sharing, and allow access. From your Windows 11 computer, open File Explorer and type \ComputerName (replace with the Windows 10 PC’s name) to view shared files log in with the Windows 10 username and password if asked. If instead of file access you want to control the entire Windows 10 desktop, enable Remote Desktop on the Windows 10 PC and then connect using the Remote Desktop app on Windows 11. This way you can either simply move files across machines or fully work on your Windows 10 system remotely, depending on your needs.

Are you trying to just share files/folders between the two computers, or do you want to fully control your Windows 10 desktop remotely?

    Kind regards,
